Good to know

  • Wines originate from the Hidalgo family's 'Pastrana' vineyard near Sanlcar de Barrameda
  • Aged in old casks of American oak using the traditional 'solera' system
  • Final selection of wines considered suitable for the 'Pastrana' label narrowed down to two sherry styles
  • One is a classic dry old amontillado, the 'Amontillado Viejo'
  • The other is a fine Manzanilla Pasada, an aged Manzanilla with freshness and delicate fragrance
  • Style and quality suit the exacting standards of both wine makers
