  • Coriander is an aromatic herb with a distinctive citrus taste
  • Chop leaves and stalks with tomato and chilli for a marvellous Mexican salsa
  • Sprinkle leaves over carrots for extra flavour
  • Ideally be used soon after purchase
  • Unlike other herbs, coriander should ideally be used once and then discarded
  • Mix roughly chopped fresh coriander with olive oil and lemon juice
  • Combine a large handful of fresh coriander with tomato, red onion, garlic, mild chilli, lime juice, salt and pepper
  • Roughly chop or blitz in a blender for a few seconds and serve immediately.
