Good to know

  • Adds a fiery kick with tomatoes and ancho, chipotle, and Guajillo chillies.
  • Great for marinades or in Chicken Tinga - shredded chicken in a spicy tomato sauce served in tacos.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C/FAN 160°C/Gas Mark 6.
  • Add 1 large sliced onion to the bottom of a baking tray.
  • Rub the jar of Tinga paste over a medium-sized whole chicken or 1 pack of chicken thighs.
  • Place the chicken on top of the onion.
  • Add 100ml of water and cover with foil.
  • Bake in the oven until the chicken is cooked.
  • Shred and serve with wraps, salsa, and salad.
