  • Each tray insert has 24 well-drained cells
  • Fill insert cells with good quality seed and cutting compost
  • Gently water with a fine spray
  • Remove rootball by pushing gently upwards from underneath the cell
  • Put into an intermediate-sized container to grow on
  • Make a hole in the centre of each cell
  • Tease ready seedlings out gently with a dibber
  • Place roots into hole and firm gently inside
  • Water thoroughly with a medium spray
